I started putting a seed mix from Happy Birdwatcher in my Bird Buddy. This attracted new species.

This pair of Java Sparrows is so cute. They’re from Happy Hives in Hawaii.
This Mockingbird looked confused because the Suet feeder was missing. I took it away to clean it.
All the references I’ve seen say that Java Sparrows can’t hover like hummingbirds, but this little guy sure looks like he’s hovering.

This chipmunk has found his way onto the suet cage I put out again this week. I put out peanuts for Chippy and his family, but they’ve taken all of them and probably stored them up for winter. He hasn’t made his way onto the Bird Buddy, but it may just be a matter of time.
